Homeschool Programs

  • ages 5-17 (18 if still in high school)

  • students learn horsemanship and academic enrichment in agriculture and equine science as well as journaling

  • 1 hour

  • current availability is only Monday 1pm-2pm

  • $20-$40 per day per person (based on income)

  • minimum 4 students, maximum 12

Homeschool is an awesome choice for many students. However, sometimes finding extracurricular activity and socialization during the school day can be challenging. We are extended lessons to home school youth!

Enrollment Steps

3. Complete liability waivers here

  •  legal parent/guardian must complete waiver for each child

  • each parent/guardian must also complete one for self in case they ever have to pick up their child

  • each adult on site must also complete one for thier self)

4. Complete a program application

  • password is required to access

  • will be sent to you after completing interest form and waivers

5. Submit the fee here AFTER receiving approval from our Program Manager (will email you directly) 

  • payments are at bottom of this page​ 

  •  If you wish to see if you qualify for reduced tuition, must submit proof of income on student application for reduced rate

  • Payments are $25-$40 per day

  • Most local participants qualify for $25 

School/Organization Sign ups

  • you can also book as a small preschool, homeschool, or private school group

  • maximum 12 student (grades 1-12)

  • maximum 8 students if under 6

Individual Sign Ups

  • You may sign up as a single home school student or book with a group of friends/siblings

  • parent/ adult chaperone must be present for family groups

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Payments and waivers are due at least one full week  before the start of the week your child will be attending.

  • Unfortunately we do not have any scholarships available this term for homeschool. 

  • Do not pay until you are accepted for enrollment and have completed the application (if you completed the new online application this year you do not need to complete another one unless information has changed). (some groups will only need to do a waiver)

  • Waivers are due annually

  • Holidays may fall on class days. Weekly fees remains the same rate.

  • no refunds

Fitness & Behavior Requirements

  • 180 pound weight limit, as horses can only safely carry maximum 20% of their own body weight on their back

  • Must have physical ability and flexibility to mount horse, balance, dismount, and other riding skills independently

  • Must have the mental capability to listen and behave, act safely around horses, and follow directions and protocol as given by staff

What to bring

  • Bring a filled  reusable water bottle to each class (with water not juice, soda,  sports, etc)

  • You are encouraged to pack a healthy snack for your child. We do not allow junk food except on special occasions

  • Long pants only

  • no shorts, dresses, skirts, baggy pants, or pants that are too tight

  • paddock/riding/work boots. See example here (amazon, chewy, ariat, thift store, etc)

  • 2 pocket folder with binding prongs inside. see example here (target, stables, office depot. usually 50 cent)
