Day 2: West Palms at LAEC August 19 2023

Volunteer to support CJE for the wonderful West Palms Event at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center

Service Description

CJE will be hosting a booth at the LAEC for the duration of the event. We need volunteers to be a the booth informing visitors about the program and possibly accepting donations by directing them online to the website. Please note, only designated staff may take monetary donations in the lockbox. We may also have flyers to give out to visitors, must most likely will inform them to scan a QR code to save paper and waste. A FAQ sheet will be emailed to you prior to the start of the event so that you feel comfortable answering questions. Parents and employees will also be on site to assist most of the time. Each shift is 3 hours, but you will be able to enjoy the event before and/or after your shift depending on which one you sign up for. We will need 4 people per shift. Attire is: -Shirts-Either a CJE or CC (Compton Cowboy) shirt. If you do not have one, a black or white shirt is fine. You can also wear a button down shirt -Bottoms-Jeans preferred -Shoes-closed toes shoes preferred. If opportunity volunteer with the horses, appropriate boots are required (select equestrians only if opportunity becomes available) -NOT ALLOWED: shorts, skirts, dresses that are short, revealing clothing, dirty or torn clothing, profanity or offensive images/texts on clothing
